State of the art coating facilities which includes our new and unique twin head slot die coater that enables two sides to be coated in one pass.

2023 saw the commissioning of yet another coating line here at Latrave. This time it was our twin head machine that had arrived after many months of design and expertise in assembly. The introduction of this very special machine provides improved productivity, vastly increased capacity, less energy consumption and fantastic performance levels across our range by coating two sides and pre-slitting in a single pass.

Matching the adhesive to the coating is a highly skilled task. At Latrave we have previously supplied coatings to medical-grade and food-safety standards, as well as considered environmental factors, and hot-melt and acrylic-based adhesives.

The majority of our in-house coating is done using the slot die method, which maximises accuracy, efficiency, and production rates. This coating technique gives your product a consistent finish and is available for both stripe and uniform coating.

Our onsite testing facilities make sure to rigorously test new combinations and formulas, as well as routine inspections of standard tapes and batches, supporting the quality assurance delivered to you by Latrave. All the team here are dedicated to our ISO9001-2015 accreditation
